 Hello, my name is King James '"The Body Whisperer"' I am a native of Raleigh, NC. Born and raised by the beautiful Tempie HD and James D Spivey Sr. I am the oldest of two by them, I have two sweet little sisters named Courtney and Chasity.

My father passed away when i was just three years old, being raised by my mother and grandma L - As a kid I often at times felt lost, out of place, searching - seeking- looking for something (outside of me) not knowing at the time to go with in. It was hard going through life trying to figure out that lostness like something was missing, cause to me, at that time there was something missing. 

Growing up i was a nice guy, the gentle giant, my size helped me in many ways, but it also did harm. I was somewhat shy growing up not really talkative, i had "friends" what i thought were friends. I was attracted to girls that weren't attracted to me, self-esteem and confidents was low. That never ending cycle of caring about what people looked like rather than looking at how that treated themselves or other people, made dating during and after high school interesting.

Growing up i spent a lot of time with my grandma L, she was such a sweet lady. When i wasn't with her i was with moms - that is one strong woman - my mother. They both helped me find my passion for the arts of culinary, so after going to culinary school, shortly after finishing i found out my mom was diagnosed with fibromyalgia caused her so much pain, Me being a loving son and wanting to help her it was either go nursing school, become a doctor or massage therapy. I decided to switch gears from cooking and became a massage therapist to help her manage her pain. I attended Gwinnett College Formally known as The Medical Arts School in Raleigh. 13 years later I'm still a therapist i still love it but my approach and reasons towards massage has changed over the years of doing this work.

My Passion For Love:
A New U Healing was originally created as a massage service for clients to receive a relaxing massage experience, it still is, but I'm stepping outside the box to go a little deeper to heal you from within, to connect you back to Self, to help balance the mind, body, and soul, spirit. to help clients fully and wholly accept and love self - i.e., Self-Love. 

A New U healing is a company built from, built upon, and built out of Self-love, Self-worth and Self-improvement; it is not just a business it is my life. The birth of A New U came from the Death and Birthing process of Me dealing with a toxic past relationship with myself in which mentally, emotionally, spiritually, psychologically i died and a rebirth happened in / to me - like a phoenix i raised, to where i said NO! - Enough is Enough, - I am not allowing this to happen to me anymore. 

I begin to Love, Value, Appreciate, Worship, Respect, Protect and so much more for MYSELF that i refused to allow anyone to treat me nothing less than what i KNEW i deserved. I am today using that Power, that fire, that passion within, THE LOVE that I AM to heal daily in more ways than one and offer to others that experience in the form of a massage, a massage created and designed to get you back in touch with you, a massage designed to allow you to be free, to be safe, to receive love - Unconditional love, a massage designed to help you get back to what is important - SELF, LOVE, ONENESS, UNITY, BALANCE, ETC.
